FAQ - Some common questions
Do I need Internet access to run Web Accounting?
No! Only if you want to access your system away from the office would you be required to have Internet access. This will then allow you to access your accounting from another country, a hotspot via your laptop or someone else's premises.
Does Web Accounting have a fixed assets module?
Not currently. But a module is currently in development to accommodate a full fixed assets component. Currently you can add fixed assets to your inventory list and pull up a report for detail of your fixed assets.
What computer specs do I need to run Web Accounting?
Server requirements = Windows XP Pro and above. Workstations = Windows 98SE and above, plus Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.
What is the maximum number of users for Web Accounting?
Unlimited, we monitor users concurrently.
What is the maximum size company that can use Web Accounting?
From single user - to SMME’s - to large corporates. Web Accounting is a highly scaleable package.
Is there training support for Web Accounting?
Yes! We have regular training sessions which cover the basics of Web Accounting. There are also video training CDs for personalised training.
Is there on-going client support after the package has been purchased?
Yes! You have unlimited telephonic support as part of your contract. Your dealer can also assist you onsite for support. You can also e-mail us for support.
Does Web Accounting support e-mailing of documents?
Yes! From an e-mail server send: quotes, invoices, credit notes, customer statements, purchase orders, goods received notes, stock returns and supplier’s statements.
Does Web Accounting have Point of Sale?
An advanced Point of Sale is in development.
Can you make corrections to the documents prior to them being posted?
All documents are saved, checked and then can be posted into your books.
Is there a license fee?
Yes! License fees are paid annually based on the anniversary of your contract.
How many branches can be in one set of books?
Multiple.
Is there a help file on Web Accounting?
Yes! Web Accounting has a video training session on each module.
